Tips and tricks//

 

[Some may seem obvious but I just thought ‘why not’]

 

  1. Start a Diary – I know you all have your online diaries, but start one in a little book, put thinspo in it, quotes and anything else to keep you motivated, ‘to do’ lists, daily plans etc. trust me it helps.
  2. Photos - take a photo of yourself [in ya undies] each week or so, this way you can see your self either losing or putting on weight and you can alter your habits. Put the photos in your diary, so you can keep track of them.
  3. Goal Weight – I know it can be hard staying motivated throughout the day, so what I do is I write my GW on the inside of my wrist, this gives me something to keep looking at and focusing on. You can also try writing a special event [say a formal] or a date that you want to look skinny for.
  4. Water and fasting – When fasting its important to drink a lot of water, and this can be hard so I try a combination of different flavours.

-         Lemon and Hot water

-         Honey [natural] lemon and hot water.

-         Lime and water

-         Lemon and water

-         Cucumber slices and water

-         Also try the supermarket for ‘water flavouring’ packets 0cals and is great for when you desperately need something sweet

-         And if you’re bored, try adding food colouring to the water =] its fun.

 

  1. Icky foods – go to www.caloriesperhour.com take a look at how many cals are in your favourite foods. Ick. Those burgers are a killer.
  2. Shop it – ok shopping is probably the last thing you feel like doing when you feel big, but trust me. Go down to the mall by yourself and walk around, making note of all the clothes you’ll buy when your thin =] you could even do it over the internet, and put the pictures in your diary.
  3. Distractions – sometimes you just get to that point where you need to eat, if you do need to eat, have fruit and drink water. Then get up and distract yourself, clean your room, write someone a letter, go for a walk, sleep, run up and down the stairs a few times, anything to keep yourself away from the fridge
  4. Reverse images – ok I know this one sounds gross, but desperate times call for desperate measures. If you really feel yourself slipping and nothing else has worked, try looking at photos of morbidly obese people, hurt animals etc. you’re sure to loose you appetite.
  5. can’t work it out – need to work out how to calculate your BMI, convert kilograms to pounds, see the healthy weight for your height, need more distractions, more diets, recipes, poems and quotes, This site has it all http://www.proanamia.com/welcome.html  
  6. Exercise – finally exercise, if you wanna loose weght fast, you’re gonna need this. But it doesn’t have to be boring try swimming, jumping rope, even dancing crazy in your room will work.
